The University of Leeds is among the top ten universities for research in the UK and is internationally acknowledged as a centre of excellence in a wide range of academic and professional disciplines.

They offer one of the widest ranges of academic courses in the UK with over 30,500 students attached to 700 undergraduate and 474 postgraduate degree programmes. They are proactive in turning research into world-class products and services, and are on course to join the top 50 universities in the world by 2015.

Requirements

The University needed an agency with the ability to handle lots of faculty/school marketing material, interacting with both the marketing department and the University’s internal resources/print departments. Creative work within the main brand was essential, as well as producing literature outside of the brand for spin-off commercial projects.

What We Did

Spiral started working with the University of Leeds in 1993. Since then we have worked with most of the schools, faculties and central support services - from Engineering and Arts to Food Science and the Careers Centre, to name a few. Spiral progressed through a reputation for high-quality work and word of mouth from department to department, supplying design, print, web and exhibition work. In recent years we have been responsible for developing and delivering many faculty brands within the overall University identity.

Prospectuses, brochures, folders, leaflets, flyers, posters, banners, pop-up stands, pull-up banners, internal signage, external signage, presentations, screen savers, websites, animated presentations, showreels, CDs, packaging, membership cards, open day signage - from full brands, right down to animated gifs, Spiral has produced the lot for the University!
